Technical Day - Trailer 101

The day started with a technical discussion/training session and then we proceeded to the "hands-on" section.
Participants were put through their paces in an obstacle course laid out amongst trees, first forward and then back to the starting point in reverse with their vehicle only, but then the fun began, with a trailer hitched the obstacle course was negotiated, again first forward and then in reverse, mirrors only - no turning around or looking back.
Drivers were monitored and assisted by Nigel, our Driver Trainer, if and when necessary. A lot was learnt, a lot of fun was had on a well-attended day. A big thank you to Jakob Jordaan for his assistance in making the day a success.
Once again, we all learnt that you are never to old, or young, to learn something new.
