Annual Braai & Boot Sale

Once again our Braai & Boot sale on Sunday 25 June, turned out to be a truly memorable day at the beautiful grounds of the Piston Ring Club in Modderfontein.

Our members started to arrive at 08:30 and even though it was deep in winter, the weather played along to give us an enjoyable sunny day. More than 50 Land Rovers, a few dogs, and Alex’s Vespa made their way to the Piston Ring Club. We were not disappointed as a variety of items were on sale, including bling for your Landy, camping gear and even a pair of ladies Wellies.

Ansie and Christo were probably the big spenders on the day. as they bought Bernard's Disco 1, boot and all! We were also spoiled with a few Series Landies on display that were restored in pristine condition. Many a topic was discussed and a lot of problems were solved. The braai was a perfect ending to a sunny day enjoyed by all.
