2017 Cars In The Park

On Sunday 6 August we arrived at Zwartkops Race Track just after six to find four members already parked on our stand - aptly numbered "110". This was the first time we were not there before everyone else. And that was the start of a lot of firsts.
This surpassed our wildest expectations. During the day 51 Landies pitched up and we really made our presence known! There were so many of us that we had to ask permission from the adjacent sites to spill over onto their sites.
We were by far the site with the most vehicles, and the members who joined us were typical Land Rover Owners Club members, they “kuiered”, chatted to interested visitors and even allowed kids to get into their cars to get the feel of a true 4x4.
We wish to thank everyone who displayed not only their Landies but also the spirit of the Club. As a result we had quite a number of new members joining.
