The Land Rover Owners Club welcomes all Land Rover enthusiasts to join the club. Whether you want some useful information or help putting your beloved Series vehicle back on the road. Our members join us to venture out into the rest of Africa, to learn how best to drive their Land Rovers, or simply just to meet other passionate Landy owners. If you feel this way then joining LROC is your ticket to freedom: venturing out on the open road and to those far-off destinations only a Land Rover can reach.
The LROC driver training function has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years thanks to an active working sub-committee that continually review the content and assist with the actual training sessions during the course of the year. Training is provided free of charge to bona-fide paid up members and all attendees receive an attendance certificate at the conclusion of each session.
Events & trips are organized year-round and members are encouraged to participate in them. Events such as trials are organized in conjunction with driver training days and usually offer overnight accommodation as an option. Long trips and weekend getaways are offered to members and are published in the monthly newsletter and on the events page of this website.
Our magazine, Landroving, is sent out to all members and distributed to our sponsors and advertisers. Each edition of the magazine and newsletter is filled with interesting articles, trip reports from members and past events. We encourage our members to participate in their production and everyone is welcome to contribute their stories and experiences.
